iF Design Award
The iF product design award covers all areas of product design. It serves as a platform for design-relevant innovations, thus recognizing today's globally networked world and its related dynamics. 1.121 participants from 43 different nations competed for an iF product design award 2011, submitting a total of 2,756 products for adjudication by an international panel of experts. 993 products merited an iF product design award 2011, with 50 of them also selected to receive an iF gold award.

Change Retail Duesseldorf
In collaboration with Liganova Reflexion enhanced the new lighting design for the Change Retail Stores in Dusseldorf, Neuenkirch and Sulzbach. Liganova, a brand retail company, developed a brand new shop concept "Change Retail". Change Retail is a generic store and visual marketing concept which interconnects Retail Architecture, Visual Marketing, Visual Merchandising and POS Events. The distinctive ceiling light fitting has been designed by Reflexion exclusively for this shop concept.

Philips Lighting and LUCI have announced that this year’s international city.people.light award has been won by the city of Jyväskylä, Finland (2nd price has been gone to Hafen Lachen, Switzerland). At the award ceremony, which was held in Gwangju in South Korea on 19 October 2009, representatives from the city were presented with the city.people.light trophy
